I love cucumber salad. Marinating cucumbers just makes them pop!
Prep Time

- 1 hour to refrigerate
Ingredients
- 3 large cucumbers
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ⅛ cup water
- ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
- ½ tsp celery seed
- ¼ cup chopped onion
Tools Needed
- Knife or mandoline
- Bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Paper towel
Instructions
Peel the cucumbers, and slice them wafer thin (easiest with a mandoline). Add 1 tsp salt and mix in. Set aside for 15 minutes, and mix the remaining ingredients.
Pat the cucumbers dry with a paper towel. Mix the cucumbers into the marinade. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
